I spent a long long time researching this product as a newly licensed amateur and in my opinion could find no better. I was a little nervous when ordering but since receiving the product have been nothing less than impressed....well built...full of features and a pre installed codeplug made it easy to use right away...very pleased with it and the efficient service from Moonraker....the only slight negative is perhaps screen size and no detachable front but as i plan on getting the BT remote not enough to put me off and i'm glad it didn't

Radio arrived next day, as usual from Moonraker. Excellent radio lots of features. Had an issue with which was the correct software version to download, 1 phone call and they were very helpful and emailed me a link to the correct software and all good. Highly recommend Radio and company. Not my first purchase from them and definitely wont be my last. Have bought from other well know companies and got very little or no support. Not a problem with these guys. 5 star

Good Little Mobile Radio .Would buy again.Very good Audio .and very easy when moonraker code plug is Avaiable to load in to radio all i hade to do is add a few off my freqs in to codeplug and then i was ready to use.or just use the moonracker codeplug load in to radio with digital contact list and you ready to use

It worked on 2m out of the box- but a bit of a confusing range of read me first files in the downloads. with some contradictions about the version of the PC software needed and the appropriate firmware on the radio ( confusing at least to me!) It would be my first foray into DMR, and in fact the help I sought to get it ready to use resulted in a the local DMR co-ordinator ( if that's what it is) taking it away to program it. It does seem that is the normal way to proceed for him. I look forward to getting it back.

The manual could be a little more helpful on setting up some of the features such as APRS, but plenty of info on the web.

I have been looking at purchasing this radio for quite a while. I have the 878 handheld and this is the perfect accompaniment. Had a real struggle at first with loading the code plug but discovered that the correct CP Editor was on Bridgecoms site. Very pleased.

This is by far the best uhf/vhf radio I’ve ever brought. Easy to program with the software, but it does come preprogrammed from Moonraker. If you’re looking for a good mobile radio this is it. It’s also dual APRS (send/receive) analog and digital.

Bought this a few weeks ago. It came with factory default codeplug and to be honest I thought it was going to be difficult to set up. After a few tutorials on youtube i confident to be able to download a uk codeplug from moonraker and start to modify it to my needs. If you have some prior knowledge of databases and excel its fairly easy to work out how to do changes. After a bit of a learning curve got the radio working to my liking. It has some good features and i am still exploring them. Up to now I am a very happy bunny. I particularly like the dual volume controls for using on full duplex.
