Bought this to programme my Leixen VV-898, worked perfectly for me.
The disc includes the USB drivers and Leixen software, I installed the drivers prior to plugging the lead in and device was recognised the moment I plugged the lead into the laptop.
I decided not to use the leixen software but used chirp instead, launched chirp and it was immediately recognised with the correct port number.
100% happy with the programming lead and supplied drivers, I installed the drivers onto my Lenovo T420I laptop which has Windows 10 installed.

Bought this to programme my Leixen VV-898, works perfectly, as per the previous review, make sure you use the driver supplied on the disk and don't allow windows to auto install the driver.

After initial problems with drivers (don't let Windows auto-install, install off the disc) it makes working with the radio so much better. Editing memories become a doddle. At this price you can't really go wrong.
