The A-99 features the Solarcon Twin Ring Adjust-A-Match tuning making it possible to tune the input to the antenna and obtain the optimum S.W.R. over a range of Frequencies. Raising the rings raises the frequency and lowering the rings lowers the frequency. · Fiberglass Omnidirectional Base Station Antenna · Covers far above and below the traditional C.B. channels for export, commercial and 10 meter ham band use, input 2000 watts P.E.P. · The A99 is a half wave over a quarter wave variable mutual transductance tuned antenna. · Comes in three sections, easy to assemble · Entire antenna radiates - 9.9 dBi Gain · Each antenna individually tested. Protects up to 14,500 volts Length 18ft

After looking for a suitable vertical which covers 10m/11m I duly purchased the above, over the years I've owned the original A99, this build quality is more robust and sturdy in the always windy Lake District landscape.
Easy to install and swr is achievable using the rings without much headaches like other verticals.

Good, long lasting antenna

The Antron 99 is a tried and tested antenna, it works well with excellent wideband coverage. The best thing about it is that you put it up and then forget about it for the next 20 years. It needs no maintenance, and can withstand everything the UK weather throws at it.

Have had 3x A99 antennas since they first came on the market. Very well build, easy to install, wide band coverage with excellent swr. 1x got broken in 160km winds, the other one was damaged in carrier accident would recommend anytime to someone looking for an excellent antenna.
