The Q332 is a solidly built radio, has some excellent features, like loudspeaker and clarity on Tx sounds, but also has some odd quirks too. The PTT buttons are "crossed"; top works bottom, and vice-versa, front buttons are not instinctive, and some functions seem odd, to say the least. The inclusion of 6m is nice, but, don't expect much on 5w or less Tx power!
There's a whole bunch of "mixed bag" things I found that could be improved; but I have contacted Wouxun about that. Overall though, a very strong contender to the Mid-range handheld's with good battery life and outstanding Tx/Rx performance.

As I am going to be laid up for quite some time and moving upstairs I thought I would try another hand held after selling 2 last month. I came across this radio and thought the price suits me and the specification was what I wanted. The only thing I need to do is sort out the programming software. I have bought the RT System package with the correct lead so hopefully that should be easy to programme. I hope this is going to be one of my better buys.

I've also got the 4M tribander & the 2M/4M handie.
Superb audio & I've got into using the compander setting, having tried it on our 4M net on the Isle of Wight.
These radio's are so well made. I like the double menu accessibility and the dual PTT. It's worth reading the manual to see all the rich features the radio has. I can honestly say, these are amongst my favourite radios & always pack one of them when going away on a trip or holiday.
On my boat I use the 4M with a bantenna hoisted aloft to really pull in some signals. Only had local QSO on 6M but was good quality reception both ways.
2M & 70cm faultless.
Put 4 & 6 on a quadbander & it would be perfect. I think the USA market has a quadbander for their particular frequency allocation.
Even the commercial FM stations are clear and good audio.
The Wouxun software is well set out & no problem to use.
I can't think of any cons to the radio, especially as the prices have recently dropped.
Happy with my purchase, good value for money.

This is my new favourite HT. The quality is very good, right down to the customisable themes on the display and the screw on cover for external mic. Two antennas supplied are surprisingly good, unlike most rubber ducks. Like others, I've bought this mainly for 6 meters for the upcoming E season this summer.

Like the reviewer below, I bought this mainly for six meters. No contacts yet but the audio does sound very nice coming through my Uniden XLT125 scanner. Power output on six meters might be slightly less than 5 Wats but not enough to make an appreciable difference (YMMV). Overall this is a very nice piece of kit and the USB-C charging is a really good selling point! There are other Wouxun radios that cost almost as much and only cover the 2m/70cms bands. £130 at the moment versus £150 not that long ago is a nice saving as well.

Programming software only let's you select COM1 (RS232)port but the radio connect's by USB

Bought mainly for 6m but after owning the radio for a few days, it's become my main HT.
Well made, easy to use, receiver sensitivity is top notch and the added bonus of USB c.

*Tip* when naming memories on the radio, the star key moves the character on and the hash key clears all the text. Manual in the box says different.

Was expecting this to be a poor made product but in fact was well built and easy to navigate
