What’s in the Box? 

The mAT-40 antenna tuner includes a 10-metre control cable and your choice of interface cable (sold separately). Simple to set up with quality connections, power is supplied to the tuner from the radio via the control cable. Moonraker recommends a length of 40-43 feet, and there is a schematic in the box to help you plan your installation.

This compact and weatherproof antenna tuner will let you rapidly tune any antenna by selecting different interface cables for Icom, Yaesu or Kenwood. The tuner housing has a beautiful finish and robust weather resistance, thanks to a combination of aluminium milling and oxidation surface technology.

On the rear of the mAT-40 is a sole insulated wing nut connector for attaching a single-wire antenna. Turning the tuner over and on the other side, you’ll find an earth wing nut, an SO239 for your coax feeder and a connection for the supply ten-metre control cable to your choice of transceiver.

Control cable

The box also contains a control cable with an easy-fitting waterproof connector for all-weather protection all year round. The mAT-40 is suitable for permanent outdoor use. The control cable goes between the mAT-40 tuner and a radio interface cable.

Mounting Bracket

The final item is a high-quality stainless-steel mounting bracket. The mAT-40 has metal tabs at all four corners to accommodate bolts or screws for mounting, and the separate extension bracket offers a choice of configurations.
